Target grants to the organizations

Alongside the implementation of the charity programs of its own, the Vladimir Potanin Foundation also allocates single target grants to the organizations for the projects which come in line with the Foundation’s key activities.

Support of the Russian Orthodox University of St. John the Theologian

Annually, the Vladimir Potanin Foundation allocates resources for providing for the activities of the Russian Orthodox University of St. John the Theologian. The University was established jointly by Moscow Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Association of Historic Towns in 1993 under the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II. The University has a faculty of about 150 lecturers, who teach almost 600 students.

Those of the students who get only “excellent” and “good” marks, have already for four times participated in the pilot selection process of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation’s Federal Scholarship Program. In the 2007/08 academic year 6 students of the Russian Orthodox University receive scholarships of 2,500 Roubles per month, provided by the Foundation.

Support of the Commission on the Organization of Managers' Training for the Russian Economy

Since 2005 the Vladimir Potanin Foundation has been allocating resources for the activities of the Commission on the Organization of Managers' Training for the Russian Economy.
