The program started in the 2005 school year. That spring in Moscow one hundred military institutes’ teachers from all around Russia, belonging to all branches of the armed forces, were gathered together for the first time to receive diplomas as winners of the Foundation grant program.
1,000 teachers participate in the grant competition annually. Selection contest includes an expert examination of academic and educational publications of the teacher as well as a survey of cadets whom he/she teaches.
100 teachers from institutes of the Russian Ministry of Defense have received grants in 2006. The grant’s amount is 36,000 Rubles.
